As Ballard Partners has grown to become an international public affairs firm with locations on three continents, it has also deepened its expertise. Along with adding new members to its growing team, it has established specialty groups that cater to clients in specific sectors. With specialty groups in areas ranging from healthcare to veterans’ rights, Ballard Partners and its team of experienced government relations consultants have the skills, know-how, and relationship building to deliver exceptional advocacy for everyone from Fortune 500 companies to community health centers.

Ballard Partners’ specialty divisions also include Ballard Media Group. Led by Adam Goodman and Justin Sayfie, the division creates customized and timely media strategies designed to reach and influence target audiences. Paid media, social media campaigns, and reputation management—Ballard Media Group does all of this and more. Let’s takea look at the experienced media professionals behind Ballard Media Group and how they are driving results for clients.

Adam Goodman

Called a “media icon” by the Tampa Bay Times, Adam Goodman has spent four decades growing his reputation as one of the country’s leading media consultants. His career has seen him produce award-winning messaging for a wide range of clients, among them more than 200 winning political campaigns across 46 states.

Goodman came to Ballard Partners from The Victory Group, where he created and produced media for clients that included the NFL, the US Chamber of Commerce, Bacardi, and the Walton Family Foundation. The chair of the Ballard Media Group, he has been regularly called on to share his opinions on TV and through his columns.

Justin Sayfie

The co-chair of Ballard Media Group, Justin Sayfie has been keeping Floridians informed on political news in their home state since 2002, when he began publishing the Sayfie Review. He has served as the spokesman for former Florida governor Jed Bush and has worked in the administrations of George W. Bush and Donald Trump as a member of the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships.

Also an attorney, Mr. Sayfie is the former chairman of the Federal Judicial Nominating Commission for the Southern District of Florida, a position to which he was appointed by Senator Mel Martinez. He holds a bachelor’s degree in American government from Georgetown University and a juris doctor with cum laude distinction from the University of Miami.

13th & Park

Beyond leveraging their media and government relations expertise to support clients, Mr. Goodman and Mr. Sayfie are the host and co-host, respectively, of 13th & Park. A production of Ballard Partners, the YouTube show welcomes influential guests for illuminating conversation on topics in politics, entertainment, sports, media, and more.

Since launching in 2022, 13th & Park has garnered more than 2.4 million subscribers—a massive swing from only two years ago, when it had only 37. A key to the show’s runaway growth, according to Goodman, is his commitment to getting to know guests “personally, not just professionally.” One memorable example was Mr. Goodman’s interview with Marco Rubio, who was then a sitting US senator and shortly thereafter accepted an appointment to become US secretary of state.

Mr. Goodman, who learned during his research that Mr. Rubio was a fan of the rapper Eminem, opened the interview by reciting lyrics to one of the hip-hop artist’s songs. Mr. Rubio’s reaction said it all: this wasn’t a typical interview show, and Mr. Goodman spent the rest of the episode not only inquiring about Mr. Rubio’s professional accomplishments, but also learning about who he was as a person.

The success of the episode—as of May 2025, it had 362,000 views—sparked a surge in 13th & Park’s popularity. Since then, senators such as Deb Fischer and Katie Britt, congresspeople such as Mike Lawler and Richard Hudson, and Trump administration officials such as border czar Tom Homan have been welcomed as guests. The visibility of the show, combined with its political neutrality, has also attracted many Democrats. Recently, Los Angeles district attorney Nathan Hochman joined Mr. Goodman for a conversation about combatting crime, while California governor Gavin Newsom and Tampa mayor Jane Castor have discussed their careers and lives.

13th & Park is not just a political show, however. Since its launch, actor Cedric the Entertainer, media personality Chris Matthews, and baseball Hall of Famer Johnny Bench, among many others, have all shared their perspectives with the show’s growing audience. As Mr. Goodman puts it, “We’ve gotten to be popular largely because of the quality of the guests.”
